LISTEN TO THE MEN WHO TOOK THE LEAP....

The 4 Stage of The Journey

Here's the full arc of The Awakened Man Experience across the 5 days of the retreat

  • Departure You arrive carrying everything you've been carrying. Men meet each other as they actually are. The container opens. Intention is set. Fire is lit.
  • The Wound Dive into the depths of your shadow and see the patterns running your life. We'll uncover the parts of you that you've suppressed in order to fit in.
  • Initiation The fire has done its work and now comes the transmutation. We'll build direction, presence and depth. Be seen and celebrated for the man you're becoming.
  • Return You leave with clarity. A specific commitment witnessed by your brothers before returning home to your family with the work inside you.

The Awakened Man Facilitors

Jasper Brown - Founder of Awakened Evolution. Having coached hundreds of men privately and in circle. His work sits at the intersection of conscious masculinity, relational healing, shadow work, and nervous system regulation. He built his approach through lived experience - world travel, five years inside a Tantric yoga school, leaving a cult, rebuilding a relationship after breaking trust, and the loss of his father. He doesn't teach theory. He teaches what he's lived through.
Aaron Christos - Men's embodiment coach and relationship therapist based in Tasmania. Aaron works at the intersection of masculine embodiment, relational healing, and spiritual depth. His gift is taking what a man knows intellectually about presence and connection and moving it into the body where it actually lives. If Jasper maps the wound and Leon names the myth, Aaron makes sure the work lands in your nervous system and stays there.
Leon Cossar - Australian poet, mythologist, and one of the country's leading voices in initiation and rites of passage. Leon brings over a decade of experience guiding men through wilderness quests and initiatory thresholds. He wraps the entire weekend in the living structure of the hero's journey - naming what's moving through story, myth and poetry at exactly the moment it's needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Some men will arrive having done years of work. Others will be stepping into a container like this for the first time. Both are welcome. The retreat is designed to meet you where you are. What matters is your willingness to be honest.

No. The retreat fee covers all food, accommodation and content. You are expected to get yourself to the venue prior to the start date and time. We will of course help you arrange logistics such as travel from the airport to the retreat location. Carpooling where necessary as well as recommend areas to stay before or after the retreat dates.

The container is challenging by design. But challenging is not the same as unsafe. All three facilitators are trauma-informed and experienced in holding men through difficult material. You have full agency throughout. You are never required to share more than you are ready to share.

Therapy is invaluable and this isn't a replacement for it. What the Academy offers that therapy typically doesn't is a structured developmental arc — a map of where you're going, not just an exploration of where you've been. It also offers something therapy rarely provides: a community of men on the same path. Many of the men in this program are also in therapy. They find the two work together rather than against each other.

The post-retreat container is specifically designed for this. And men are encouraged to reach out directly to the facilitators if they need additional support during integration.
